Is NUSU AI free?
The app is free to install. Some cloud AI features require an API key that you supply yourself, and your provider may charge for usage.
Is my data safe?
Memory and voice data are stored on your device. Family messages are stored on our Cloudflare backend so they can sync across logins; we do not sell your data.
How do I update the app?
Download the latest APK from this site and install it over the old version — your data stays. If the server marks an update as mandatory, the app will show an update screen.
Why does the mic or overlay need permission?
Android requires explicit consent for microphone access, drawing over other apps, and screen control. NUSU AI only requests these when you enable the related feature.
Can I use it without internet?
The offline wake word and speech recognition work without internet. Cloud conversations, family messaging and updates need a connection.
