What we collect
On your device: memories, voice samples for enrollment, preferences and chat history — stored locally by the app. On our backend (Cloudflare): your NUSU ID account (display name, password stored only as a salted hash), registered push tokens, family connections, messages you send, and anonymous activity timestamps used for companion reminders.
How it is used
Only to run the service: authenticate you, deliver messages and notifications, prevent abuse (rate limiting), and show you your own data. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Permissions
Microphone, camera, location, contacts, accessibility and screen-capture are requested by Android only when you use features that need them, and can be revoked in Android settings at any time.
Data deletion
Contact support to delete your account and associated server-side data. Local data is removed by clearing the app's storage in Android settings.
Children
NUSU AI is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy materially changes and show announcements in-app when appropriate.
